Birrell R. Thompson - When
the Civil War broke out, he took his family
from Carroll Co., Arkansas, up into Missouri
and joined the Union Army at Linn Creek., Missouri.
He was a member of "D" Company, of the
29th Missouri Infantry. Rank - Sergeant
After the Civil War, Birrell R. Thompson and
family returned to Carroll Co., Arkansas.
Birrell R. Thompson was born - Jan. 6, 1827 in Kentucky.
Date of Death - Jan. 6, 1882 in Carroll Co., Arkansas
