Cleburne County Court House

Heber Springs, Arkansas

 

Circa 1914.  Listed on the National Register July 12, 1976.

Cleburne County was the last of Arkansas' 75 counties to be formed on February 20, 1883.  It is named after Confederate General Patrick Cleburne.  The county seat is currently Heber Springs.

until its removal to Heber Springs. The county seat of Cleburne County. The youngest of the 75 counties in Arkansas, was established at Sugar Loaf in 1883, the year the county was formed and named for General Pat Cleburne.
