Robert Stroupe has sent us some interesting
photographs of the 1936 St. Francis River Flood. These
people are nurses and volunteers located at make-ship hospitals
and refugee camps in Cross and Crittenden County. Take a
look and see if you can identify any of these people.
Also, he would be willing to donate the originals to an
appropriate historical project if you are interested. He
