Guy Earnest Hydrick

The Hydricks lived around the Hydrick and Nettleton areas and were written about as one of the first settlers to Arkansas in the book "WITTSBURG ARKANSAS", Crowley's Ridge Steamboat Riverport, 1848-1890. They owned cotton gins and had a blacksmith shop as well, they were very close to the Bowers, Halks and other original settlers to the Vanndale, Hydrick and Cherry Valley Communities as some of the original settlers to Crowley's Ridge area of Arkansas.  These photographs have been donated by Robert Stroupe and he has originals if anyone from the Hydrick Family is interested.  He may be contacted at: rlstroupe@gmail.com
