James Thomas Box ¹, son of Mary Jane Box, was born on 21 Apr 1865 ¹, died on 25 Jan 1932 ^{1 2} and was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹.

James married Mary Calvena Wood, daughter of Berryman Wood and Sarah R. Hall, on 14 May 1892 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. Mary was born on 11 Oct 1876, died on 18 Mar 1949 and was buried in Bethel Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.  Another name for Mary was Callie. They had ten children: Howard, Walter Brodie, Tressie Jane, Floyd Fulton, Rosanna Jorena, Harvey Berryman, Homer Boston, Coy Nixon, Kara Marie, and Margie Ruby.

Howard Box ¹ was born in 1892 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹ and died in 1892 ¹.

Walter Brodie Box ¹ was born on 11 Jul 1894 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹ and died on 10 Jul 1969 in Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹.

Tressie Jane Box ¹ was born on 24 Aug 1896 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹ and died on 1 Oct 1975 ¹.

Floyd Fulton Box ^{1 4} was born on 26 Sep 1898 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ^{1 4} and died on 11 Feb 1959 ^{1 4}.

Rosanna Jorena Box ¹ was born on 4 Oct 1903 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹ and died on 17 Jun 1979 ¹. Another name for Rosanna was Annie ¹.

Harvey Berryman Box ¹ was born on 15 Mar 1906 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹ and died on 28 Apr 1992 ¹.

Homer Boston Box ¹ was born on 18 May 1908 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹, died on 13 Nov 1994 ¹ and was buried on 16 Nov 1994 in Lakeside Cemetery, Stamps, Arkansas.

Coy Nixon Box ¹ was born on 21 Aug 1910 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹, died on 1 Jun 1981 ¹ and was buried in Edgewood Cemetery, North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Kara Marie Box ^{1 5} was born on 18 Sep 1912 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹.

Margie Ruby Box ¹ was born on 2 Jun 1915 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas ¹.

 

This line belongs to my friend Gladys Rosenberger -gladys72076@aol.com.  If you are interested in or have more information on this line, please drop her some email.  Gladys' grandfather James Thomas Box and my great grandfather, Daniel Jessie Box are buried in the same cemetery.  Family lore says the two Box families are not related, but I find hard to believe in a cemetery with less than 400 people buried in it.
