Lucinda married Daniel Jesse Box, son of Henry Jr. Box and Nancy Dunn, on 23 Sep 1886 in Pulaski County, Arkansas. They had seven children: John Shelby Jr., Canzadia Mae, Leroy, Thurman, Lonnie, Quimby, and Belle.

Canzadia Mae Box 1 3 9 15 16 17 was born on 23 Feb 1900 in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas 1 3 18, died on 26 Nov 1966 in Melbourne, Brevard County, Florida 1 3 19 20 21 and was buried in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas 19 20 22. Another name for Canzadia was Ninnie, Cannie.

Leroy Box 3 was born in Mar 1898 6.

General Notes: Leroy is listed on the 1900 Arkansas, Pulaski County, Bayou Meto Township census as the 2 year old son of Daniel Jesse and Lucinda Adonah Box. It states he was born March of 1898. 6

Thurman, Lonnie, Quimby and Belle died as infants. It is unknown if they were buried at Harmony Cemetery or Bethel Cemetery.  According to Madge (Coulter) Crain, the babies were buried at both cemeteries.  The seven listed here account for 7 of the 9 that Lucinda listed on the 1900 census.  Madge (Coulter) Crain has also stated that Lucinda was pregnant a total of 24 times over the years.  She stated her mother told her that most died within a year of being born.
