Malinda Davenport

Malinda Davenport , daughter of John Davenport and Jane, was born in 1824 in South Carolina 1 and died in 1877 in Olmstead, Pulaski County, Arkansas.  She is said to be buried at Sumner Cemetery, however there is no marker.

Birth Notes: Marie Adams had her birth listed as 1826.

Malinda married Nathan Adams, son of Thomas R. Adams and Lavina Box, about 1844. They had seven children: Henry, Henderson Zerx M., John, Augusta King, Thomas Reed, Joseph, and Nathaniel.

General Notes: His birth date, shows to be 5 years before the date of his parents marriage?

Henry Adams 1 was born in 1844 in St. Clair County, Alabama.  He is buried at Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Henderson Zerx M. Adams 1 was born on 23 Apr 1848 in St. Clair County, Alabama 3, died on 30 Nov 1886 in Olmstead, Pulaski County, Arkansas 3 and was buried in Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

General Notes: The 1850 St. Clair County, Alabama Census appears to show his age at 4 years old and the name used was Zexen. 1

John Adams 1 was born on 18 Jan 1850 in St. Clair County, Alabama 1 3 and died on 22 Mar 1867.  He is buried at Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas

General Notes: Died after a tree fell on him that he was cutting down.

Augusta King Adams 4 was born on 18 Mar 1863 in Olmstead, Pulaski County, Arkansas, died on 7 Sep 1944 in Bald Knob, White County, Arkansas and was buried in Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Thomas Reed Adams was born in Apr 1854 in St. Clair County, Alabama, died on 13 Jan 1902 in Olmstead, Pulaski County, Arkansas and was buried in Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Death Notes: Died of Pneumonia

Nathaniel Adams 2 was born on 18 Dec 1869 2, died on 28 May 1900 2 and was buried in Sumner Cemetery, Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas 2.
