County of Arkansas - Joseph Stillwell, James Hamilton, and Frederic Notrebe, to be Judges of Court of Common Pleas.

County of Phillips ---- Wm. B.R. Horner, Daniel Mooney, and Benj. Fooy, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas, Sylvanus Phillips, to be Clerk.

County of Clark ---- Jacob Barkman, Thomas Fish, and Stephen Clanton, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas.

Military - A.P. Spencer, is appointed Adjutant General for the Territory.

11/04/1820 Married --- In St. Louis, on the 28th September by the Rev. Mr. Ward, Mr. Isaac N. Henry, (one of the Editors of the St. Louis Enquirer), to Miss Patience Coffin Bennet, daughter of Mr. William Bennet, all of that place.

11/04/1820 Died - In this place, on the 1st inst. of a pulmonary complaint of short duration, Mr. Joseph Cook, aged 58.

- at Charette Village, (Mo.) on the 26th September. Col. Daniel Boon, in the 90th year of his age; he was a native of Bucks County, Pa. And was the first settler of the state of Kentucky.

-at Portland, (Me.) on the 2d of September, Mr. Francis Douglas, aged 37, proprietor of the Eastern Argus.

All persons are hereby forbidden intruding or cutting wood, on the land belonging to the estate of the late Col. Geo. Armistead, - any one so offending will be prosecuted with the utmost rigor of the law.

The Co-partnership heretofore existing under the firm and style of Lewis & Thomas is dissolved according to the articles of association. Persons having claims against the firm are desired to exhibit them without delay; and those indebted are requested to make immediate payment.

11/11/1820 Ware - House
The subscriber has established a Ware - house at the mouth of Arkansas river, and is now ready to receive Merchandise or Produce, for Storage ---- He will venture to say that the junction of the Arkansas and the Mississippi is the most convenient place of deposit, for the accommodation of traders ascending or descending those rivers.

He will, likewise, keep on hand, at proper seasons, a constant supply of wood, for the accommodation of steam-boats.

11/11/1820 Notice is hereby given,
To all whom is my concern, that the undersigned, agents for Jeremiah Hunt, Charles B. Green, and D.D. Elliott, will petition the Court of Common Pleas, for the county of Arkansas, in the Territory of Arkansas to be holden at the Post of Arkansas in said county, on the first Monday of January next, to divide and set apart, for the said, Jeremiah Hunt and others, two hundred thousand arpens of land, being a part of a tract granted by the Spanish government to Elisha Winter, lying in the county and Territory aforesaid.

11/11/1820 Territory of Arkansas, County of Arkansas
Henry Cassidy vs. Daniel H. Baldwin,

By virtue of an execution, directed to the Sheriff of this county, by the Clerk of the Circuit Court, bearing date the 6th day of July 1820; will be exposed to sale on Tuesday the 7th day of November next, at the Court house door in the township of Arkansas, all the right, title, interest, and claim of Daniel H. Baldwin, to Lot No. 24, in the town of Rome, fronting Don Carlos street supposed to be 60 feet front, and 105 feet deep. --- Sale to commence at 12 o'clock, and while the Circuit Court it sitting.

Postponement - The sale of the above property is postponed until Tuesday, the 2nd day of January next, being the second day of the term of the Court of Common Pleas, to be holden in and for the county of Arkansas.

11/18/1820 Regimental Order
It is deemed expedient, to facilitate the organization of the 4th Regiment into Companies, that all the citizens, subject to military duty and residing in the following limits, to wit: from the mouth of Plumb Bayou, on the Arkansas River, to the mouth of White river, and from there down as low as the Cypress Bend, below the mouth of Arkansas, on the Mississippi, shall convene on Saturday, the 25th inst. at 10 o'clock, A.M. at the house of Wm. Montgomery, in the village of Arkansas, armed and equipped according to law, for the purpose of electing officers, and completely organizing themselves.

A strict obedience to this order is expected, as all who fail will be subjected to the penalties imposed by the Militia laws of this Territory.

Lawrence County - Martin Armstrong, James Campbell, and Peyton R. Pitman, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas.

Hempstead County - Wm. Woodward, John English, and John Harpole, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas.

Independence County - Robert Beane, William Moore, and Richard Peal, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas. Charles Kelly to be Sheriff of said County.

11/25/1820 APPOINTMENTS BY THE GOVERNOR

Pulaski County - James Lemon, W. Drope, and James C. Newell, to be Judges of the Court of Common Pleas.

Captain Abner P. Spencer is appointed Sheriff of the county of Phillips, in the room of Col. D. Mooney, declined.

The subscriber respectfully informs the citizens of the village of Arkansas and of the Territory generally, that he has just received, and is now opening, at the house lately occupied by the General Assembly,
A very general assortment of Dry - Goods,
Which he pledges himself to sell as cheap as any merchant in the Territory.
He has a beautiful assortment of Silks, and other Fancy Goods,
Which he recommends to the immediate attention of the French and other Ladies.

Perly Wallis vs. Thomas Dickerson

By virtue of an execution to the sheriff of this county directed, there will be sold, on Tuesday on the second day of January next, at the Court house door, in the township of Arkansas, and whilst the Court of Common Pleas is actually sitting, all the right, title, interest, and claim of Thomas Dickerson, to two hundred acres of land, situated and lying on the Arkansas River, a little below the place now claimed and occupied by James Currin, or so much thereof as will satisfy the debt, interest, and costs in the above suit.

Abner Harrold vs. Samuel B. Waters

By virtue of a writ of venditioni exponeas to the sheriff of this county directed, there will be sold, on Saturday, the twenty-third day of December next, at the plantation of William Morrison, a quantity of corn, supposed to be between one hundred and one hundred and fifty bushels, or so much thereof as will be sufficient to satisfy the demands in the above suit.
