03/17/1821 To the Public
A Young Man by the name of Aaron Roberts, about three years ago, left his friends in Kentucky, and his father, John Roberts, near Vevay (Indiana) and went a boating down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers, from whence he has never yet returned, nor have his friends heard where he is, or what has become of him, except some slight account, that a young man of his description, had been very sick at St. Louis, Missouri, two years ago; but nothing since. He was about five feet, seven or eight inches high, fair complexion, thick set, blue eyes, and fair hair, or rather of a brownish colour; he was generous, affable, and brave, fought the British and Indians in Canada during the last war, under Gen. Harrison and Shelby, and was also with Gen. Jackson, in the closing conflict at New Orleans. Should any person be able to give his friends and anxious relations information where he is, whether dead or alive, they will confer on them a very great favor by so doing.

If the printers in the states of Missouri, Illinois, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas Territory, will give this two or three insertions, they will much oblige his aged father and mother.

John Roberts and Sarah Roberts
