DENTAL SURGERY
DR. B.F. HALL expects to remain in Little Rock for some time, and
will be grateful for calls in his profession. He deems it
unnecessary, at this late period, to say any thing in relation to
his skill in his profession - his work will speak for itself.
Those who intend having Dental operations performed, would do well
to call as soon as possible, that time may be afforded, before he
leaves, to repair any work that may fail.
To those who may not have an opportunity of seeing his work, or
examining his testimonials, Dr. Hall would say - he pledges himself
to perform all Dental operations more scientifically, more neatly,
and more durably, than ever have before been done in the Territory.

REMOVAL OF JUDGE BATES,
The old Spanish proverb - " Save me from my friends, and I will take
care
of my enemies" - was never more applicable than in the case of Judge
Bates.
Some of his imprudent friends charged Col. Sevier, through the
columns of
the "Advocate," with being the instigation of his removal. This has
been
denied by the friend of Col. Sevier. But still his enemies are not
satisfied.
They keep up on incessant whining about the removal, and demand the
CAUSE.
They now have it below, in a letter from Maj. Noland, formerly
Receiver of
Public Moneys, at Batesville - a gentleman of the first standing in
society,
whose testimony will be conclusive with all who know him. The reader
will
make his own comments.
