In Arkansas county, at the residence of Mr. William Sexton, on the evening of the 15th ult., by Judge Haller, Mr. John Floyd Smith to Miss Josephine B. Watson of Louisiana.
03/24/1837 At Cotter's mill, in Pyeatt township, yesterday very suddenly, of quinsey, Mr. Jeremiah S. Bissell, late of this place, aged about 35 years. He was a native of Massachusetts.
03/24/1837 Died, At the residence of her father, the Rev. W. Mason, at Bangor, Maine, on the 28th January last, Mrs. Mary Thomas, in the 30th year of her age, consort of Capt. Charles Thomas, of the 7th U.S. Infantry.
