The American Legion prays for peace- but peace with honor!
We pray that mankind will accept as a basic for this peace the
trinity of religious, political, and social freedom won in the
American Revolution, preserved in the Civil War, Protected in the
Spanish-American War, and defended in the Great Wars and in the
Korean Conflict.
Dedicated by the American Legion this Eleventh day of November
