First House of Worship built in 1818 about 3 miles south of Ozan
and called Mount Moriah. |

This directional marker, to find Henry's Chapel, was
originally placed on the site of the Ozan Methodist Episcopal
Church South in 1917, by the Little Rock Annual Conference, and
was moved to this location in 1990 when that property was sold.
The original site of Henry's Chapel is approximately 3 miles
northwest of this marker (in the southwest corner of section 12,
township 11 south, range 25). |
