Arkansas Ties ... A Little Bit of This, a Little Bit of That, and a Whole Lot of Arkansas

Iron Mountain Depot Missouri - Pacific Depot Walnut & Front Streets Walnut Ridge, Lawrence County, Arkansas   Listed on the National Register June 11, 1992.  Currently the Walnut Ridge Chamber of Commerce. Good morning, Pris! I enjoyed your shot of the Iron Mountain Depot in Walnut Ridge on Arkansas Ties. It reminded me of the time my parents took me there in 1988 to see Michael Dukakis deliver a presidential campaign speech. If memory serves, Iron Mountain in Walnut Ridge and Union Station in Little Rock are the only active Amtrak stops in Arkansas.   David It doesn't look like it, but this train is actually flying by the depot at probably 60 to 70 miles an hour.  I guess it didn't need to stop.  ;)
