Originally
built 1898 in "salt box" style, burned down and rebuilt in 1911
in the "salt box" style, east (sunroom) and west (playroom) wings
were added
in 1938 .
Original owner, Moses Boling Rhea (buried in Rhea cemetery behind
Muleskinner
Farm). His wife founded the 1st Baptist church in Walnut Ridge and
it
originally met in this house .
