Army Spc. Ahmed A. Cason

24, of McCalla, Ala.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; killed April 4 when his unit was attacked with rocket-propelled grenades and small-arms fire in Baghdad.  Raised by grandparents in McGehee, Arkansas.

Jonathan M. Cheatham

Army Pfc. Jonathan M. Cheatham
19, of Camden, Ark.; assigned to the 489th Engineer Battalion, Army Reserve, North Little Rock, Ark.; killed while riding in a convoy that came under a rocket-propelled grenade attack, on July 26 in Baghdad.

Jason S. Clairday

Marine Cpl. Jason S. Clairday
21, of Camp Fulton, Ark.; assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif.; killed Dec. 12 by enemy action in Anbar province, Iraq.

Russell L. Collier

 

Army Sgt. Russell L. Collier

48, of Harrison, Ark.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 206th Field Artillery Regiment, Arkansas Army National Guard, Russellville, Ark.; killed Oct. 3 when his unit, which was conducting traffic-control operations, was attacked by small-arms fire in Taji, Iraq.

Tyler L. Creamean

Army Spc. Tyler L. Creamean
21, of Jacksonville, Ark.; assigned to the 73rd Engineer Company, 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, Wash.; killed May 22 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Mosul, Iraq. Also killed was Army 1st Lt. Aaron N. Seesan.

James D. Doster

Army Sgt. 1st Class James D. Doster
37, of Pine Bluff, Ark.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 16th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kan.; died September 29, 2007 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device and small-arms fire.

Justin M. Estes

Army Staff Sgt. Justin M. Estes
25, of Sims, Ark.; assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died March 5, 2007 in Samarra, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit during combat operations. Also killed were Staff Sgt. Robert M. Stanley, Sgt. Andrew C. Perkins, Spc. Ryan M. Bell, Spc. Justin A. Collins, and Pfc. Cory C. Kosters.

Army Capt. Arthur L. Felder
36, of Louisville, Ark.; assigned to 39th Support Battalion, 39th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Army National Guard, Hazen, Ark.; killed April 24 when mortar rounds hit his camp in Taji, Iraq.

Dustin C. Fisher

Army Spc. Dustin C. Fisher
22, of Fort Smith, Ark.; assigned to the 1st Battalion, 76th Field Artillery, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.; killed May 24 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee in Baghdad. Also killed were Sgt. Charles A. Drier and Pfc. Jeffrey R. Wallace.
