Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Charles S. Jones

34, of Lawtey, Fla.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas; killed Jan. 28 in the crash of an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter in Baghdad. Also killed was Army Capt. Orlando A. Bonilla. Graduated from Central High, West Helena, Arkansas.

Gussie M. Jones

Army Capt. Gussie M. Jones
41, of Forrest City, Ark.; assigned to the 31st Combat Support Hospital, Fort Bliss, Texas; died of a non-combat related cause on March 7 in Baghdad.

Dustin L. Kendall

Army Spc. Dustin L. Kendall
21, of Conway, Ark.; assigned to 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.; killed Jan. 15 when his Humvee accidentally struck an M1A2 Abrams tank and rolled over in Baqubah, Iraq.

Paul W. Kimbrough

Army Lt. Col. Paul W. Kimbrough
44, of Washington, D.C.; assigned to the 416th Engineer Command, Team 28, Army Reserve, Fort Benning, Ga.; died on Oct. 1, 2003, in Turkey from injuries sustained during a non-combat-related incident in Afghanistan.

Danny L. Kimme

Army PFC. Danny L. Kimme
27, of Fisher, Ill.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 32nd Cavalary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.; died January 16, 2008 in Balad, Iraq of wounds sustained from grenade and small-arms fire during combat operations. Also killed were Pfc. David H. Sharrett II and Spc. John P. Sigsbee. Mother lives in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Patrick W. Kordsmeier

Army Chief Warrant Officer 3 Patrick W. Kordsmeier
49, of North Little Rock, Ark.; assigned to 39th Support Battalion, 39th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Army National Guard, Hazen, Ark.; killed April 24 when mortar rounds hit his camp in Taji, Iraq.

Arkansas Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class William W. Labadie Jr.
45, of Bauxite, Ark.; assigned to Troop E, 151st Cavalry Squadron, 39th Infantry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, Army National Guard, based in Marianna, Ark.; killed April 7 when his camp was attacked by rockets and small-arms fire in Baghdad.

Stuart F. Liles

Army 2nd Lt. Stuart F. Liles
26, of Hot Springs, Ark.; assigned to the 122nd Aviation Support Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C..; died November 13, 2007 in Bagram, Afghanistan, of injuries suffered in a non-combat related incident.

Joshua S. Marcum

Army Spc. Joshua S. Marcum
33, of Evening Shade, Ark.; assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Arkansas Army National Guard, Camden, Ark.; killed Jan. 4 when an improvised explosive devise detonated near his military vehicle in Taji, Iraq. Also killed were Spc. Jimmy D. Buie and Army Spc. Jeremy W. McHalffey.

Army Private Van Ryan Marcum

21, of Prescott, Ark; assigned to United States Army 1st Battalion, 19th Infantry Training Brigade, Fort Benning, Ga.  Killed June 19, 2004 in a training accident.
