March 23 to May 17, 1863, formed part of the 2nd Brigade, 10th Division, 13th corps. Engaged at Port Gibson and Champion's Hills. Sent to Memphis to guard prisoners after engagement at Big Black River Bridge, May 17, on return was assigned to Col. Neely's detached Brigade.

Casualties:
Port Gibson, May 1, Wounded 1, Missing 5, Total 6.
