Jefferson Davis Confederate Park, Memphis, Tennessee     Jefferson Davis President of the Confederate States of America 1861 - 1865 Before the War Between the States, he served with distinction as a United States Congressman and twice as a United States Senator. He also served as Secretary of War of the United States. He was a true American Patriot. Confederate Park has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior, 1982.
