0124 - Fletcher Cemetery

aka Baldwin Cemetery

Transcription taken on January 1, 1955, on file with the Arkansas State Department of Health.  Cemetery transcribed by Margaret Smith Ross, who stated the cemetery was on a farm originally owned by Richard Fletcher and only one stone was left standing.  It is in T1 N, R 11 W, approximately Section 8.

Richard Fletcher, born Hawkins Co. Tenn. November 20, 1795 - Went to Randolph County, Arkansas 1817, settled on this farm in Pulaski County, November 25, 1825 and resided here 47 years, 2 months, and 17 days.  Died February 12, 1873.

In memory of Nancy A., wife of Hon. Richard Fletcher, born April 1st 1803 - died September 14, 1862.

Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Richard and Nancy Fletcher, and consort of Blanton Baldwin.  Born April 7, 1820 - died August 11, 1871.

Martha, consort of William Q. Pennington, and daughter of Richard and Nancy Fletcher, born April 30, 1831 - died August 11, 1871.

Susanna, daughter of Richard and Nancy Fletcher, born January 25, 1834 - died March 12, 1846.

Susan Baldwin, born June 22, 1839 - died October 27th, 1858

Richard F., Oldest son of B & E Baldwin, born February 4, 1838 died June 7, 1874.

Fannie, Wife of E.N. Chenault, born Dale County, Alabama 1854 (rest of stone was missing)

Ida D., daughter of J.M. & F.E. Farmer, February 22, 1886 - died September 7, 1889, aged 3 years, 5 months, 15 days.

Mary, daughter of Richard and Mary Fletcher, born April 10, 1826, died February 16, 1846.
