0070 - Ives Cemetery
Latitude 345000N Longitude 0922613W
It is hard to describe where Ives is located, but
here goes. Located between the Pinnacle Mountain Yacht Club and the very edge of
Maumelle Park. You will need to get out and walk in the woods for this one.
Somewhat behind a wooden fence and barbed wire, covered in bushes. However, it
is a good sized cemetery. Ninety Eight percent of the tombstones have been
turned over, almost for a reason, since some of them weight between 500 and
1000 lbs. Between this and mother nature, this cemetery will be gone within 5
years unless someone steps in. There were many very nice tombstones that we
could not read because they were knocked over into the ground, so only last
names are listed on those.
