Dairy was a big operation. It was located in the 1700 or 1800 block
of Scott St. in Little Rock. They made or should I say processed a
pretty complete line of dairy products. Popsicles, several varieties
of ice cream on sticks, waffle cone ice cream cones, ice cream in
all of the various size containers. They had their own trucks that
delivered to homes and stores. I started out in the popsicle
department then went to putting ice cream in the large containers.
Then a nice lady that was in advertising picked me as her assistant.
About all we did was go around and visit client stores and put up a
few signs. I don't have any idea how many people they employed
but as you can see it was a pretty big operation. - Loyd
