In 1921,
Sterling Scott contracted with an architect to begin work on this
house, however, he sold it to John and Snow Boyle before it was
finished. Mr. Boyle died in 1938 and Mrs. Boyle, who was the
previous widow of C.R. Ledbetter, occupied the house until she died
in 1949.
