Arkansas Ties ... A Little Bit of This, a Little Bit of That, and a Whole Lot of Arkansas

MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History   also known as the City Park, the Arsenal, MacArthur Park Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas Gilbert & Mary Knapp Memorial Completed in 1908, the Knapp Memorial resembles a small Greek temple. The cenotaph originally enclosed a marble drinking fountain, which Mrs. Knapp hoped would provide refreshment for persons traveling through the neighborhood. Seventy years after its dedication, Aesthetic Club members re-gathered at the monument to commemorate the event.  Mr. and Mrs. Knap also owned the property that is now known as the Toltec Mounds.
