Arkansas Ties ... A Little Bit of This, a Little Bit of That, and a Whole Lot of Arkansas

Ellerman - Ferling House 401 East Tenth Street Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas c. 1890   From the Quapaw brochure: The original house at this location is thought to have been built in the 1870's when it was purchased by August Ellerman, a grocer,  enlarged it in 1883.  Following his death, his wife, Eliza married Herman Ferling, a saloon owner in 1889.  The house remained in the Ferling family until the 1950's.
