Vacation in the Smokies

Just want to thank everyone for being patient with me while I play “catch up”.  Sweetie and I took a vacation over to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee.  I would like to say we got much needed rest but we didn’t, it was go, go, go the entire time we were there.  Mark and and I went over there to zipline and had the best time! I am sure I will bore you to death over the next week as I post my pictures and babble on about how wonderful it was…yada, yada, yada.  In the meantime, if you have signed up for the forum and have not heard from me, drop me a line and let me know.  I have over 600 emails and 95 percent of them are spam and not nearly...

Monument Restoration

On the 13th of November,  the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program sponsored a Cemetery Fair at the Mosaic Templar Museum.  There were two companies that provided information on restoration of monuments and historic markers. Emerson Monument Co. located in Springdale is a full service monument company providing new monuments, laser etchings, memorial bricks, bronzer memorials, statuary, vases and landscape stones.  The company has been in business since 1926 and is currently co-owned by Alison Raymer and her husband. Alison and Scott Raymer, photographed by Desmond.
