The Portia School House was built in 1914 and remains virtually untouched by time. Portia – 2007 There is very little online about Portia, Arkansas much less Portia High School.
While I was looking for information on Portia, I ran up on the “Mother of Counties – Lawrence County” book in its entirety on google. Published in 2001 it is a very nice history of Lawrence County.
