We were in Pall Mall Tn and stopped by the York homestead, it was the house that they gave him when he returned from the war. His son and grand son were their and we ended up sitting around BSing with them about Sgt York for about an hour and a half. It was absolutely fascinating to hear the stories he had to tell.

Wow, I bet that was really great…and they actually gave him a house? It made me feel good that Tennessee did everything they could to give him recognition for his service and I found the story very interesting. Did you post a blog on it?
