For the next couple of days, I am going to post things I found on my trip to Tennessee. Many people from Arkansas have ancestors that followed the emigration path through Tennessee, myself included.
The Tennessee State Capitol, located in Nashville, was designed by William Alexander and completed in 1859. Strickland died five years before the building was completed and is entombed in the northeast end of the building. Samuel Morgan, Chairman of the State Building Commission is entombed in Southeast corner.
