The Cades Cove Historic District in the Great Smokey Mountains is a 11 mile (one way loop) trip through the wonderful mountains.  Old houses, old churches, wild life and beautiful scenery.  Not to be missed if you are taking a trip to the Smokey Mountains.

Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church, organized June 16, 1827.

From the back side.

Wildlife abounds.

The biggest turkey I have seen in a long time.

Actual working mill…you can go inside and they are actually grinding corn and bagging it.

The Methodist Church.

Beautiful scenery.
