Wouldn’t it be great it we could get grave photographs of all the Arkansas men buried overseas? How about it AGP, are you ready to do a little traveling? We could take up money to send Don, Alvin and Robert over there?
One of THOSE Grandma’s
If you are not on facebook, then you probably do not know that my oldest daughter Nikki and her husband have announced that I am FINALLY going to be a grandma and it appears that I am going to be one of THOSE Grandma’s. You know the ones who forget they had a life before the grandbaby came along? I can’t help it, I am bouncing off the wall, and after all, isn’t this what we save all this stuff for, the future, our grandbabies?
I have colored him blue since he has been announced as a Baby Boy due August 16. I sure hope he is a he, otherwise, she will need to really, really like blue.
The past week has been filled with this……
and of course, I have already found his first Christmas present….
I promise I will get back on track and start posting soon!

Dear Sir, Madam,
Please assist me with the following.
I am from Holland and have an interest in WW 2 history.
I do research about US servicemen that were killed in WW 2 and are/were buried in the US Military Cemetery in Holland (and Belgium), near where I live.
I am searching information and in particular a picture from:
Grover W. Ellis Jr.
He was from Pulaski County, Little Rock, AR.
He died March 23rd 1945, but probably was missing in action before that date.
His next of kin was Ruby Ellis, living at Gaines Street (Little Rock), his mother. He had 2 sisters, called Doris and Dorothy. They also lived in Ozan, Hempstead County, AR.
Any help or information will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
kind regards from Holland,
Antoine

Odd Fellows Cemetery
I am just going to be truthful…I am now getting to the point where I can’t remember what I have and have not posted without looking it up on the website. There have even been cases of wow, you found that on my website, really?
Somewhere around the year 2001, I drove all over creation looking for the Odd Fellows Cemetery in North Little Rock with no luck. I think I ascertained it had to have been around the library or the North Little Rock detention holding cell across the street. Anyway, about a month ago I went to go photograph the new North Little Rock War Memorial and found this memorial sitting in the corner of the Laman Library Plaza.
