I have relatives in Wrightsville. I visited there in 1988 looking for my great grandfather Abert Jerome(Rome) Cross he was suppose to be buried there in Dec 1929 according to my grandmother Effie Cross Miller one of his four daughters. But in searching the cemetery I found nothing to indicate that. My relatives that are there are Eunice and Ted Freeman they are my great grandparents, Foster Freeman was their son and my grandfather. Beulah Mae (freeman) Jordan is my aunt.. Henry C Gentry was my great uncle all on my mothers side. Also have Pope's in my ancestry but not sure about Ruth Pope.
